Q. Why did the LIV build a new website - what was wrong with the old website?
The new website was redeveloped to offer members and the community a new user friendly website, which includes an improved search feature, easy to use menus and navigation, plus a simple content structure informed by member focus groups.
The new website offers a range of ways to locate information, and allows the LIV to communicate and engage with members and the community more effectively.
We have added a News section on the homepage to deliver you the latest information and updates from the LIV and within the legal sector.
In addition, the layout and design has been simplyfied and the new look mega menu and deep footer gives you access to information at their fingertips.

Q. Have my login details changed?
No. Your login member id and password have not changed for the new website. For assistance on how to login go to the help
If you are a non-member and have an existing My Account, your details for logging in and registering for LIV CPD activities and events will not have changed.
If you have yet to create a non-member account you can register a new account online
. This will allow you to login an register for LIV CPD activities and events. At the same time you can subscribe to LIV email whatsOn updates and invitation emails. Once set up you will be able to manage your details at any time by logging in to your My Account.
Q. What happened to my bookmarks?
If you have bookmarked pages on the previous LIV website, then you will need to update them as the links have changed. The Bookshop and About LIV section pages have mostly stayed the same.
We have moved the Media Centre from About LIV and placed it under Practice Resources. It is now called our News Centre
and it is where you will find our media releases, speeches, president's and young lawyers' blogs, videos, eNews, social media portal and more.

Q. Who built the new website?
This new website has been designed and built by the LIV eMarketing team with the assistance of the Information Technology team. The LIV hosts the www.liv.asn.au website in-house.
The content structure was informed by conducting member focus groups. These were important in validating our approach to the new website information architecture so we hope you are pleased with the final result. The focus group participants also validated our approach to the new design and page layouts. This was a key step before we could deliever this new website.
