What happens if I want to change my event or provide a substitute for my entry?

Go back to the registration website, enter the email address and password used to register your entry and follow the instructions to modify your entry details.

For substitutions after the closing date of 25 October 2010, please arrive early and go directly to the registration table to make your changes.

Can I register multiple people for the event?

Yes, once you have completed the online registration form, you will be given an option to register for another person prior to the checkout.

How do I make payment for the event?

The LIV will only accept payment by credit card this year. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express

How do I know if my registration has been received & processed?

Confirmations are automatically generated via the registration system and are sent to the registrants email.  If you haven’t received a confirmation email, contact LIV Events via email: events@liv.asn.au or phone 9607 9529.

What happens if I want to cancel my registration and obtain a refund?

The Law Institute of Victoria will only provide a refund to a cancelled registration if the cancellation is made on the registration website and an email is sent to events@liv.asn.au requesting a refund at least 7 days prior to the event. If you cancel your registration less than 7 days prior to the event, we will be unable to provide a refund. However, you will still be able to organise a substitution through the registration website.

How do I get my race bib and timing piece?

Collect these items at the registration marquee on the day of the event. Simply line up in the queue that indicates the first letter of your surname.

Will I be able to get my results on the day?

We are able to announce the winners of the race categories on the day. Full results will be available on this website by 5pm, Tuesday, 8 November.

Where can I leave my clothing or bag?

There will be a marquee and areas set aside for those wishing to leave a clothing bag while they are participating in the event. Please do not leave any valuables in your bag. Leaving your bag under the marquee is at your own risk.

Where can I get changed?

Changing facilities will be available at the public rest rooms located near the registration marquee.

Can I enter as a team? How do I enter as a running team?

See answer 4 above.

What safety information do I need to know about?

During the event

For safety reasons, no dogs, bicycles or rollerblades are permitted at the event. Pushers and strollers carrying young children are allowed and it is recommended that they be kept to the left of the course.

For the safety of all walkers we ask to not walk more than two abreast and to keep to the right of the path.

Because we are using public pathways and footpaths please be mindful of other people not in the event and also be aware that you may encounter bike riders on the paths.

Coming to and leaving the event

For your own personal safety reasons please cross all roads leading to the track by pedestrian crossing and traffic lights only.

What happens if the temperature is very high on race day?

Please assume that the race will be going ahead unless you are informed otherwise by the race organisers. You will have the option to substitute your category from Run to Walk and the race organisers may make alterations to the Run or Walk track. Please arrive early if you wish to make any changes.
