1. Instructions and information on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to LIV members. Employees of the LIV (‘Promoter’), their immediate families, and its agencies and companies associated with this survey are ineligible to enter.
3. Offer is not available for registrations of the Legal Support Staff Conference.
4. The LIV reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with the entry process or who submits an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
5. The promotion commences on Monday, 5 December 2011 and concludes at 11.59pm EST on Tuesday, 31 January 2012.
HOW TO ENTER:
6. LIV members who fully complete and submit payment for their registration will go into the prize draw.
7. Entries can be submitted up to 5pm on Tuesday 31 January 2012.
8. The LIV and its agencies and companies associated with this competition accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
PRIZE:
9. The prize draws will be conducted at 10am on Wednesday 1 February 2012 at 470 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 by random selection.
10. There will be 15 prizes as part of the Pay by LIV American Express Card and Win Prize Draw. Three cashbacks for members who register for a full day at the early bird price of $480 and 12 cashbacks for members who register for a stream at the early bird price of $264 on their LIV American Express Card. The prize credit will be awarded into the 15 winners’ LIV American Express credit card that was used with their registration; the prizes will be credited into the winners’ account within 6-8 weeks from draw date.
11. The winner will be notified by email. Winners names (with their permission) will be published in the Friday 10 and 17 February editions of Friday Facts. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
13. In the event that the winner of the prize cannot be contacted by email or has not claimed the prize within 3 months of the prize being awarded, the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will choose and publish another winner according to the same procedure above.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prize, nor any injury that may occur in the use of the prize.
15. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in relation to this competition. If the competition is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition subject to approval from any relevant authority.
16. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person’s negligence) relating to the promotion or the awarding or taking of the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
