1. Instructions and information on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to LIV members. Employees of the LIV (‘Promoter’), their immediate families, and its agencies and companies associated with this survey are ineligible to enter.
3. Applies to members who have registered for a full day at the LIV Symposium. Offer is not available for registrations of the Legal Support Staff Conference.
4. The LIV reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with the entry process or who submits an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
5. The promotion commences on Wednesday 1 February 2012 and concludes at 11.59pm EST on Tuesday, 28 February 2012.
HOW TO ENTER:
6. LIV members who fully complete and submit payment for their registration according to the conditions above will go into the prize draw.
7. Entries can be submitted up to 11.59pm on Tuesday 28 February 2012.
8. The LIV and its agencies and companies associated with this competition accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
PRIZE:
9. The prize draws will be conducted at 10am on Wednesday 29 February 2012 at 470 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 by random selection.
10. There will be one prize as part of the Prize Draw.
11. The winner will be notified by email. The winners name (with their permission) will be published in the Friday 9 March edition of Friday Facts. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. In the event that the winner of the prize cannot be contacted by email or has not claimed the prize within 3 months of the prize being awarded, the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will choose and publish another winner according to the same procedure above.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in relation to this competition. If the competition is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition subject to approval from any relevant authority.
14. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person’s negligence) relating to the promotion or the awarding or taking of the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
