Professional Development

The LIV Professional Development (PD) department is a centre of excellence for professional education and lifelong learning. We offer a variety of programs to meet the diverse range of our members’ learning needs, focusing on addressing the four compulsory CPD fields:

  1. Substantive Law
  2. Ethics and Professional Responsibility
  3. Professional Skills
  4. Practice Management and Business Skills.

Attending an LIV CPD activity gives you a theoretical and practical context where you can apply your newly gained knowledge and skills to meet your day-to-day practice needs.

Drawing on the expertise of LIV accredited specialists and section committee members, we are able to provide key information about the latest legislative changes and what they mean for you and your clients.

The LIV offers a diverse range of conferences, seminars, workshops and webinars. In addition we can also develop customised in-house training to meet your firm’s needs.
