About the Institute of Legal Executives
In a recent Salary Survey it showed that members were employed in private legal firms working in conveyancing, probate and litigation; some work in the Courts; for Federal and State Government bodies and private corporations; some work as conveyancers; some members are employed by Barristers; some are engaged to carry out research; some are involved in accountancy work, HR, workcover, migration, and in private investigative work. Members hail from all types of different cultural backgrounds, and a number started their working life in a different profession. There are presently members in all States of Australia.
