About Elder Law Section
The LIV Elder Law Section keeps solicitors informed of changes to policy and legislation affecting older persons and is relevant to all solicitors working in this area. When necessary, the Section will lobby the government for legislative reform.
Objectives
- Assist in furthering the objectives of the LIV
- Advise the LIV Council
- Provide a forum for discussion and continuing education
- Stimulate the interest and participation of lawyers
