It's hard to believe it's already August! The year is moving quickly but there's still plenty ahead for the Young Lawyers Section in 2011- starting with release of the second edition of the Young Lawyers Journal hitting desks this month.
Coming up in September, the Young Lawyers Section is proud to be hosting the Australian Young Lawyers Conference. With young lawyers from all over the country attending, the Conference will cover a range of topics to help you build your legal career and will culminate with the running of the Nation Golden Gavel Competition. Be sure to register.
Let me also say thanks and congratulations to all young lawyers who took part in our various competitions over recent months including the LIV Hanover Welfare Services Mooting Competition, Victorian Golden Gavel Competition and the Young Lawyers Short Story Competition. The competitions were once again a great success. |
