In Victoria, it is compulsory for legal practitioners to complete regular professional development activities, such as seminars, lectures, workshops, courses, discussion groups, conferences, membership of committees and writing of legal articles. This scheme is called the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme and it is important for all practitioners to be familiar with all the details.
