    In this session, our expert presenter will take an in-depth look at:

    1. Joint tenancy, severance and forward estate planning – what to do when time is short
      - joint mortgages/mortgages over joint assets
      - debt and estate administration
      - addressing mortgage issues at the estate planning stage
      - legal and equitable severance
       
    2. Valuation of assets
      - thinking ahead at the Will drafting stage
      - undertaking valuations during estate administration
      - taking CGT into account when assets are transferred in specie
      - valuing superannuation death benefits and factoring in liability for tax
      - valuation of assets and adjustment clauses
       
    3. Occupation rights
      - life interests v personal rights
      - implications for land tax, stamp duty, CGT
