  • Full Description

    Do you have questions about the NDIS? Are you across its operation and how it interacts with personal injury law? Join fellow Personal Injury specialists and experienced practitioners to discover and discuss the NDIS and its likely impact on your practice and your clients. Our expert David Moody, Acting CEO, National Disability Services, will take us through the ins and outs of the NDIS and answer your questions in this special Breakfast with the Experts event.

    Topics to be covered include:

    • What the NDIS will fund and how;
    • The interaction generally between personal injury claims and the NDIS;
    • How the NDIS deals with an existing participant who is involved in a subsequent compensable event;
    • How the NDIS deals with a person who has been involved in a compensable event and who subsequently becomes an NDIS participant;
    • Thoughts about where the scheme is heading over the next five years and implications for the sector, people with a disability and the wider community.

    As with all our Breakfast with the Experts events, attending this session will give you the opportunity to submit ‘questions on notice’ prior to the session and participate in a Q&A/discussion with David, making this a valuable event for any senior practitioner.

    Please be reminded that you can attend this event in person or via webinar.
