    The digital age brings enormous opportunities for the delivery of legal services, yet with any opportunity new risks emerge. Our increasingly interconnected environment means it is every lawyer’s responsibility to ensure you understand the cyber landscape and prioritise the cyber safety of your legal practice – for your client, for your firm and for yourself. 

    This introductory workshop will provide an overview of the digital landscape with a focus on your obligations, your duty of care, data and information management and an approach to risk management and policies to implement in practice to build your cyber resilience. 

  • Presenter

    EJ Wise, Principal Solicitor, WiseLaw
    EJ founded WiseLaw with a community focus and with the purpose of increasing cyber understanding and resilience. Prior to working in private practice, EJ had 25 years legal experience in Australian Federal and State Government, specialising in cyber law, policy, advice, international humanitarian law, law of the sea, administrative and criminal law. EJ is an internationally recognized cyber law expert.
