      David McKenzie and Lydia De Raad will provide a comprehensive overview of the eConveyancing digital revolution.

      Following a brief history of eConveyancing, David will guide you through the 1 October 2018 mandated requirements. They will then discuss important practical considerations for the final mandated date of 1 August 2019, after which all transactions must be lodged electronically.

      Guided by PEXA’s Internal Training Co-Ordinator, this workshop session will train you in the completion of a number of PEXA transactions. These include caveat lodgement and withdrawal and completion of transfers from the perspective of different transaction parties. You will then practice the completion of a transfer on behalf of a proprietor on title and an incoming proprietor.

    Be ready for the 1 October deadline as eConveyancing moves to mandatory online platforms in August 2019.

    The next milestone date for eConveyancing in Victoria is fast approaching, after which all combinations of discharge, transfer and mortgage transactions must be conducted electronically.

    In this workshop, LIV Property Law Committee Co-Chair David McKenzie and PEXA Quality Assurance trainer Nancy Madaferri will take you through the key legal and practical requirements for eConveyancing. Through this, you will learn how to process various eConveyancing transactions in a “risk-free” environment.
