    • 2:15 PM The Anonymous Anomaly: Recognising and managing online risks in your practice

    • 3:15 PM Business Development in a Digital World

It may have been possible to consider social media “not worth the trouble” a decade ago. However, that perspective has shifted massively as the number of people getting their news and information from social media continues to grow, while those seeking out traditional newspapers and media outlets decreases. So what does it take to successfully use social media to grow your business, and how hard will you have to work to do it? This session will give you an overview of the best ways you can use social media to bring in new clients and streamline your business, all while avoiding the common traps that lawyers have been known to fall into along the way.

      Topics will include:

      • how you can use social media as a natural extension of how you have always won business
      • what you can expect to achieve for your efforts
      • how the lawyer/client sales funnel translates to online
      • how you should evaluate the success of your digital strategy (using both quantitative analytics and qualitative feedback).

Presenter: Laura Vickers, Principal, Nest Legal
