    Gianna Fermo, A Reasonable Standard

My name is Gianna Fermo I am a first-year student at Monash. I am undertaking the Juris Doctor program after completing a science degree majoring in psychology. I am currently helping to run a Reasonable Standard, which started as a website that explores and discusses the different mental health experiences students might encounter throughout their degree. Currently, at a Reasonable Standard we are striving to destigmatise mental health and wellness by starting a conversation. We hope that by sharing relatable and vulnerable experiences and how we as students worked our way through them, we can foster a culture of understanding and support.

Coming from a background in psychology, mental health is an important issue for me. Being involved with a Reasonable Standard has given me a way to spread awareness for mental health. I hope that our work will foster a legal community in which everyone no matter the problems they may face are supported and respected.

    Victor Aeberli, Cornwalls

I am a 30-year-old law graduate originating from Switzerland with Malaysian and South Indian roots. I graduated law in Melbourne I am incredibly impassioned with the topic of mental health as I believe it is through adversity that we find our true strength in life.
