    Video 1 – Speaker: Venita Dimos, Director, The Mediation Company

    Venita Dimos has had extensive experience in the legal industry for over 20 years. She has held senior legal positions in global corporate organisations and worked in multinational private law firm practice. She is a nationally accredited mediator, family dispute resolution practitioner and the founder of the Mediation Company Pty Ltd – a company specialising in conflict management training and executive workplace coaching.

    Venita is a recognised specialist and thought leader in conflict management and communication. She has trained in Conflict Dynamics Profiling, CINERGY conflict management, Brain-Based conversation skills, Brain-Based coaching and is a certified High Conflict Institute New Ways for Families coach.

    Venita facilitates corporate training and individual coaching to empower people to discover creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems. She is on a mission to transform workplace communication by helping people build their conflict intelligence.

    Video 2 – Speaker 1: Matthew Keath, Technology Business Mediator, MJK and Co

    After getting started with his first website start up in the infant internet during the mid 90’s, Matt has spent the last 24 years being involved in a range of IT, Logistical, Digital Marketing, Cloud Computing, CRM Integration and Creative Director positions and businesses and has an excellent knowledge of the issues businesses have with technology.

    In 2019 he sold his business and moved into law, getting his Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies in 2020, and is currently studying a LLB through Victoria University. He is an nationally accredited mediator with a special interest in IT and digital disputes, and is an active member of the tech and innovation LIV section. Matt lives in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with his wife, 3 kids and 2 poodles, and is a mad Carlton AFL member.

    Video 2 – Speaker 2: Brenton Johnson, Uptake Digital

    Brenton Johnson founded Johnson IT in 2011 after identifying a need in the market to provide turn-key IT solutions to local businesses. In 2013, Brenton moved to Bendigo and rebranded as Uptake Solutions.

    Brenton quickly become an integrated part of Bendigo, providing thought leadership and taking on executive roles with Bendigo’s Young Professionals Network (Vice Chair) and Synergize Hub (VP, President).

    In 2016, Brenton run for council to help contribute to the city on a grander scale. Brenton’s ability to think outside of the box, as well as his deep understanding and love for digital technology, put him ahead of the field in terms of necessity for the city.

    When Brenton isn’t at work, he enjoys playing cards and spending time with his friends and family

    Video 3 – Speaker: Michael Dolan, Special Counsel, Ethics and Professional Practice, Law Institute of Victoria

    Michael Dolan is an Australian Legal Practitioner and is Special Counsel Ethics with the Law Institute of Victoria. Michael has a legal career spanning over 45 years, including 20 years as a senior executive in the electricity supply and mobile telephone industries in Australia and the UK. Michael is passionate about legal ethics and enjoys advising and assisting other lawyers respond to their ethical challenges as well as presenting highly interactive educational seminars for them. Michael has written and contributed to several published articles on ethics over the past few years and has anchored several DVDs on the topic.
