It was all aboard for the “Around the Bay in a Day for The Smith Family” as members of four firms prepared to engage in friendly competition to see who could raise the most money for charity. Teams from Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Freehills, Allens Arthur Robinson and Blake Dawson Waldron are competing in an inter-firm challenge to raise the most money for the charity. On 19 October participants will ride 210 kilometres from Melbourne to either Queenscliff or Sorrento before taking the ferry across the bay and then riding back to Melbourne. Last year 7000 people participated in the event, raising $250,000. For more information, call Bicycle Victoria on 1800 616 600 or go to http://www.bv.com.au.
