Court of Appeal visits Horsham

Cite as: (2004) 78(10) LIJ, p. 15

Chief Justice Warren became the first Supreme Court Chief Justice to sit on a country circuit of the Court of Appeal during the visit to Horsham from 23-27 August. Chief Justice Warren joined Justice Winneke and Justice William Ormiston for the sitting, which marked the second time the Court of Appeal has sat at Horsham since the Court’s establishment in 1995. It is also believed to be the first time in at least 80 years that a Supreme Court Chief Justice has presided in Horsham.
