  • About the author

    Dr Damien Cremean was admitted to the Victoria Bar in 1976. In 1983 he was appointed a Senior Law Reform Officer of the Australian Law Reform Commission working on the Admiralty reference. Dr Cremean was later appointed part time a Deputy District Registrar of the Federal Court dealing with admiralty and maritime mediations. He is a Founder of FOI Results and Barrister; he is also a Senior Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Queensland

    Michael Whitten QC was called to the Queensland Bar in 1990 and to the Victorian Bar in 1996. Since then, he has practised in commercial litigation specialising in all aspects of building and construction disputes. He has appeared in most courts and tribunals throughout Australia and developed a domestic and international arbitration practice. In September 2019, he was appointed Chief Justice of Tonga.

    Michael Sharkey was called to the Victorian Bar in 2015. He practises in commercial litigation and arbitration, specialising in all aspects of building and construction disputes.
