Renew Your Membership

Renew as an individual  |  Renew your firm

As we have seen throughout the pandemic, our profession is stronger together. Renew by June 30 to maintain your connection with more than 18,500 of your peers in the legal profession, as well as the resources, networks, support and opportunities you need to thrive. 

As a reminder, LIV membership gives you access to many services, including:

  • Professional development and connections: Complimentary and discounted information and education activities, including CPD. In 2020 the LIV delivered 84 complimentary activities to over 14,000 attendees.
     
  • Expert guidance and support: Delivered by the respected LIV Ethics & Practice Support and Practice Management and Trust Consulting teams. In 2020 our teams answered over 6,500 calls for advice and support.
     
  • Critical news and information: Delivered through member emails, LawNews, the LIJ and via social media channels.
     
  • Influence and reach: Advocating on your behalf at a local and national level and offering the opportunity to connect with peers via our extensive Practice Section Committee network.

How to renew as an individual for the 2021/22 membership year

  1.  Click on "Sign In" at the top of this page and login with your individual member ID and password
    (If you have forgotten your ID and/or password these can be retrieved via the link in the login section)
     
  2. Click on “Your Profile” at the top of the page
     
  3. Select “Renewals” from the dropdown menu
     
  4. Click on “Renew Now”
     
  5. Complete the renewal form and pay online via credit card


How to renew your firm for the 2021/22 membership year

  1.  Click on "Sign In" at the top of the page and login with your entity ID number and password
    ( If you have forgotten your ID and/or password these can be retrieved via the link in the login section)
     
  2. Click on “Your Profile” at the top of the page
     
  3. Select “Renewals” from the dropdown menu
     
  4. Review the detail in the Membership Renewal tab, you can add, edit or remove employees here
     
  5. Once all details are finalised click “Pay Now” and proceed through the shopping cart and enter your credit card details

NOTE: Firm invoices will be mailed to firms mid-May. If you work in a firm and are unaware of your membership status, please consult your practice manager.
