On 22 May 2014 the Legal Services Board announced that it proposes to approve the Victorian Solicitors' Conduct Rules and sought public comment. Once approved, the rules will be made by the LIV under s3.2.9(3) of the Legal Profession Act 2004, and will replace the current Professional Conduct and Practice Rules 2005.
