Let’s face it – like it or not, we’re all biased. On the train, at the pub and even in the workplace, we rapidly assess a situation by applying stereotypes or ‘stories’ to a situation and people to help us make sense of them. Don't believe me? How many times have you met someone from Fitzroy and thought "hipster"? Or immediately assumed that someone will be at the snow on the weekend because of the football team they follow (we all know Melbourne supporters prefer skiing to seeing their team play at the G).
