The LIV encourages its members to send the attached template letter to express their concerns regarding the truncated five week timeframe for consultation on the proposed merger of the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia Contained in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Bill 2018 and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2018.
