Electronic Lodgement Network subscribers are reminded when engaging a subscriber agent to complete electronic lodgements with Land Use Victoria (LUV) on their behalf, using either PEXA or in the near future Sympli, that the subscriber agent must comply with the Model Participation Rules.

Additionally, if a locum conveyancing representative is engaged, that locum must comply with the Participation Rules and ensure that the appropriate Client Authorisation and Verification of Identity requirements are completed between the locum subscriber and/or agent and the transacting party (client) to the electronic transaction. Please refer to LUV’s ‘Guide to verification of identity for conveyancers, lawyers and mortgagees conducting paper conveyancing transactions’ available here

Guidance notes published by the Australian Registrars' National Electronic Conveyancing Council in relation to VOI requirements can be found here.
