Practice Management Practising Certificate

The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner (VLSB+C) has written to the LIV in support of changes to the delivery of practice management courses in Victoria, as a means of reducing the risk of transmission of COVID-19 to PMC students and the broader community.

The VLSB+C has confirmed that, for the period of time that it remains necessary or advisable as a means of reducing exposure to COVID-19, it will consider that lawyers who complete a PMC course through online workshops and other online learning tools will, at the conclusion of the course, have attained the necessary skills and expertise to be granted a principal practising certificate by the Victorian Legal Services Board, provided all other aspects of the Guidelines have been met.
