Nominations for the 2017 LIV Council elections close at 5pm today. Anyone wishing to nominate must submit their completed nomination form by the 5pm deadline today.

Voting opens on Monday 23 October and closes at 5pm on Wednesday 8 November.

There are nine vacancies for members holding a current practising certificate to be elected to the LIV Council. Of these, six vacancies carry three year terms, one vacancy carries a two year term and two vacancies carry one year terms.

President Belinda Wilson is standing in this year’s elections and is seeking a second term as president. This is permitted under the LIV Constitution and was endorsed by Council at a special meeting on 11 September 2017.

Successful candidates will be announced at the LIV Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 15 November.
