Criminal Procedure

Significant changes to the rights of victims of crime were made in September 2018 with the passage of the Victims and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2018 (the Act). The Act implements recommendations made by the Victorian Law Reform Commission (VLRC) in its 2016 report “The Role of Victims of Crime in the Criminal Trial Process”.
