Mediation is efficient Not only is mediation less expensive than taking a matter to trial, it can be quicker, in terms of getting a date and the duration of the process. Mediation can be concluded in one day, and the parties leave with a signed agreement. A trial may last more than one day, and then the court may take weeks or months to deliver the decision.
