These are “interesting times” in family law and a collaborative approach to this area of practice has merit, according to the Hon Alastair Nicholson QC, Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia 1988-2004. Mr Nicholson addressed practitioners at the LIV on Thursday, October 19, at a Victorian Association of Collaborative Professionals [VACP] event. “I think we are looking at interesting times in family law. I’ve always thought a collaborative approach deserves more attention. I think a collaborative approach is very important and deserves more emphasis than it has been given,”
