The LIV is delighted to welcome the appointment of Andrea Tsalamandris as a judge of the County Court of Victoria.

A partner and head of the personal injuries department at Adviceline Injury Lawyers, a division of Holding Redlich, Ms Tsalamandris has been a committed proponent of pro bono work. She received several awards in recognition of her work with Holding Redlich acting for members of the Stolen Generations. She also served as a relationship partner with the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law.

Ms Tsalamandris has played a significant role in supporting working parents and advocating flexible work practices in law firms. She was the parenting partner at Holding Redlich’s Melbourne office, and the firm’s national diversity partner.

LIV president Steven Sapountsis said that Ms Tsalamandris was a highly credentialed solicitor and that her strong portfolio of pro bono work exemplified the positive work and generous community spirit of many solicitors.
