The LIV provided a short submission on this Bill to various members of Parliament. Some key points raised by the LIV include: the Bill should be retrospective to allow plaintiffs who have suffered historical abuse to benefit from it; that the definition of abuse should include psychological abuse; and that there should be a mandatory nomination process where an organisations is not capable of being sued.
