The Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) has made recommendations on a legislative option to ban conversion practices in Victoria in a submission to the Victorian Department of Justice and Community Safety...

The submission responds to the Victorian Government's commitment to ban LGBT conversion practices, and seeks to provide legislative options to address how the ban should be regulated.

The submission considers various systematic recommendations, while also discussing regulation, enforcement, protection of victims and religious freedoms connected to conversion practices.
