In August 2016, the then Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation announced a general review of Victoria's real estate and related legislation.

Among the four key pieces of real estate and property legislation examined by the review is the Owners Corporations Act 2006 (Vic).

The LIV has made a submission responding to Consumer Affairs Victoria's options paper, 'Options for Reform of the Owners Corporations Act 2006'.
