The LIV welcomes the Consultation Paper on Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) (the Consultation paper). The Consultation paper highlights the staggering increase of children in OOHC throughout Australia and the risk of experiencing sexual abuse these children face if their care arrangements are not properly overseen and scrutinised.
