Competition Technology

The Law Institute of Victoria has provided input to the Law Council of Australia's submission to the Treasurer and the Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts consultation on the final report of the ACCC's Digital Platforms Inquiry.

In the submission, the LIV endorses the research and recommendations presented by the ACCC as responsible measures needed to deal with the social and economic change brought by the digital platforms.

In addition to providing broad support to the ACCC's final report, the LIV makes several recommendations regarding the implementation of the ACCC's proposals.
