Important information re Mortgage & Memorandum of Common Provisions and forms AA690 and AA689

By LIV Submissions

LIV forms AA690 and AA689 are both memorandum of common provision documents (MCP) that are recorded with the Victorian Registrar of Titles, and were used together with LIV mortgage documents specific to each MCP. In 2015, Land Victoria released a suite of new forms, including a new mortgage form, and no longer accepts any other forms including the LIV mortgage documents specific to MCP AA690 and AA689.

The LIV currently offers MCP AA2712 (available for purchase here) which is recorded with the Registrar of Titles and can be used if the National Credit Code does not apply. The LIV provides explanatory notes regarding completion of Land Victoria’s mortgage for use with MCP AA2712.
