LIV Legal Awards
Recognising individuals for their contribution to the LIV and Victorian Legal Profession.
The LIV is seeking nominations for the new and revamped LIV Legal Awards in the following categories Nominations at 9am 1 April 2021 and close at 5pm 30 April 2021.
Honorary Life Membership
In recognition of eminent achievement and service to the highest degree by a member of the LIV, the highest honour the LIV Council can bestow upon a member.
Distinguished Service Award
For significant contribution to the advancement, promotion and improvement of the Victorian legal profession over an extended period of time.
President’s Award for Outstanding Service
For an individual who has gone over and above in service to the LIV or the profession in a particular field or endeavour.
In addition to the three major board-appointed awards, there will be important specific purpose awards aimed at recognising member contributions to the community or LIV Sections or Committees. They include the Steven Myall Award and the Paul Baker Award, also membership milestones which build on the tradition of the 50-year membership ceremony.
