    Dr Keith Kendall, Partner, Rigby Cooke Lawyers Keith is a Partner in the Tax & Wealth group at Rigby Cooke with over 17 years of tax expertise. Keith’s practice encompasses all aspects of Commonwealth and State tax. He advises individuals, trusts and companies on a wide range of issues from personal tax matters to small and large business concerns as well as representing clients in dealing with the Australian Taxation Office, preparing private binding ruling applications and objections to amended assessments. He has also represented individuals facing criminal charges for non-compliance with income tax and GST obligations. Keith began his professional career in the Tax Services Division of Deloitte in 2001. During this period, he also completed the CPA program, Masters of Law (Taxation Law), Doctor of Juridical Science, Master of Laws (Taxation and Law & Economics), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics) with First Class Honours, before becoming a prolific Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at La Trobe University. Keith was called to the Victorian Bar in 2011, where for almost six years, he was a highly-respected barrister. He is a member of various industry leadership think-tanks, including tax policy bodies for The Tax Institute and CPA Australia’s, and is a regular guest lecturer at professional events and conventions.

    Simon Tisher, Barrister, Foley’s List, Victorian Bar Simon Tisher has been a barrister at the Victorian Bar since May 2003.  He is well known and respected as a barrister and within the tax profession.  Most of Simon’s experience at the Bar pertains to tax matters (federal and state) and matters related to taxation: superannuation, insolvency and bankruptcy (usually where the Commissioner of Taxation is involved) and professional indemnity claims (commonly involving tax advice. Simon acts for taxpayers and for the Australian Taxation Office, led and unled, in disputes ranging from small individual matters to large corporate tax disputes.  

    Laura Spencer, Associate, Sladen Legal Laura is an Associate in the Business Law team at Sladen Legal where she works across a range of tax and commercial law matters. Laura has experience both in Australia and from working as a Corporate Tax Manager in London. Laura’s experience means that she has a wealth of experience across a variety of industries and with clients ranging from family owned businesses to multinational corporations. Laura’s knowledge is complemented by a practical and commercial minded attitude. She recognizes the uniqueness of each matter and is dedicated to providing tailored and valuable advice for each client.
