    Daniel Lorbeer, Barrister, Victorian Bar Daniel Lorbeer practices in commercial law. He accepts briefs both to appear and to do written work in disputes between businesses, insurance litigation, professional negligence, directors' and officers' duties, banking and financial services (Chapter 7) matters, personal and corporate insolvency and shareholder and partnership disputes. Other work that he has done has included drafting pleadings, providing solicitors with written and oral advice on the merits of litigation and strategy (both before litigation is commenced and while litigation is on foot), involvement in the strategic direction of litigation (including by drafting letters, applications and affidavits) and assisting with gathering evidence (including by drafting witness outlines and proofs).

    John Colonna, Principal Lawyer, Accredited Costs Law Specialist, Law Institute of Victoria John has practiced exclusively as a Costs Lawyer since his admission to practice, initially at a private firm of costs consultants, then at a major national Plaintiff focused legal practice and presently at LIV. His varied experience in costing has accordingly exposed him to assessing files and drawing bills of costs for firms as an external costs consultant, as well as acting as in-house costs advisor and assessor and as advocate before Costs Court both in mediations and at taxation of contested bills of costs.

    Monika Paszkiewicz, Barrister, Victorian Bar Monika has a broad commercial law practice with a particular focus on employment law and industrial relations. Monika has been briefed by employers and employees to advise and appear before the Federal Court, the Federal Circuit Court and the Fair Work Commission in matters regarding adverse action, unfair dismissal, breach of contract and industrial action. She also regularly appears in a broad range of commercial matters in the Ste courts.
