      This practical session provides you with the necessary information and skills to correctly apply the changes implemented by the new Oaths and Affirmations Act 2018 and its accompanying regulations to your practice. Ensure that you are compliant with these new procedures and Court Rules to avoid delays, re-drafting issues and inconvenience to your clients.

    • 12:15 PM Session 3: Voluntary Assisted Dying Act- Victoria at the Vanguard

      In operation since 19 June 2019, the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2017 provides Victorians who meet strict eligibility criteria the ability to access voluntary assisted dying and address end of life suffering.

      This enlightening session will discuss logistical issues and legal concerns that could affect your clients, as well as the positive outcomes that have arisen to date within the Victorian health services and associated bodies that are overseeing the first few operational months of this landmark legislation.

      This session will provide an in-depth look at the key changes and how they impact your clients, especially when vendors and developers need to review their standard off the plan contracts to avoid heavy penalties for non-compliance.
