Tuning into the LIV brings benefits

Mitcham sole practitioner Tony Fraser has found renewing his Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) membership a rewarding experience.

Mr Fraser, who has been an LIV member since he began practising in 1973, has won a Panasonic 50” plasma TV simply by renewing his membership by the end of April.

Thrilled with his win, Mr Fraser said he also appreciated the back up and support the LIV gives its members.

“There is a great service provided by the library,” he said.

“I also value the continuing professional development; the courses and services the LIV provides and the availability of the duty solicitor.”

LIV membership guarantees access to a broad range of practice support resources, as well as the opportunity to tap into a prominent community of more than 12,500 LIV members.

These members come from private practice, government, corporate sectors, tertiary institutions, the Victorian Bar, the judiciary and wider community groups.

To encourage membership renewals this year, there were two prize draws on offer.

The first prize draw for the TV was available to members who renewed by the end of April and a Panasonic DVD recorder with integrated Digital Tuner (160GB hard disk drive) was on offer for those who renewed by 31 May.

Both prizes were provided by LIV commercial benefits program partner and online electronics retailer, theMembers.
