Flood Assistance

Much of North, Eastern and Central Victoria has now been affected by the recent heavy rains and flooding.
The LIV in conjunction with Victoria Legal Aid has added flood information to its website to assist both LIV members and the general community.
The Bushfire Legal Help website is now assisting victims of the floods both in Victoria and Queensland. A section of the website includes a variety of fact sheets that are useful to anyone working in or affected by natural disasters.
Victoria Legal Aid is also providing free legal information and assistance for people affected by the floods. The fact sheets available are:
