LIV President's Blog
January 28, 2011

Welcome to the LIV President's Blog

It is exciting to start the year with a new form of communication to our members. This is the first blog from the LIV and I would like to encourage your contributions and comments on each of the topic posts. I also welcome feedback on topics you would like to have discussed in this blog.

The official opening of the legal year will commence with a busy week of social and networking events plus important discussions regarding the VLA and Family law

I will be delivering a reading at the Ecumenical observance at St Paul’s Cathedral, while other LIV councillors will represent the profession at various events to mark the opening of the legal year.  I never like to miss out on the Victoria Law Foundation’s annual Legal Laneway Breakfast which this year is on Wednesday 2 February.

By Friday I will be able to provide more information about the Family Law Eligibility Guidelines Review Discussion Paper(pdf).

Make sure you don’t miss a post on this blog by either hitting the RSS feed button, subscribe by email or follow me on twitter.
