Specialisation Resources & Forms

The Specialisation Board, a committee of the LIV Council, administers the scheme under rules approved by the Council. The Board appoints Advisory Committees to assist and advise in each area of practice covered by the scheme. The Accredited Specialisation department handles daily operations.

Arrangements for People with Special Needs

The LIV acknowledges that suitable arrangements must be made to ensure that all people with special needs are able to participate in LIV activities. This policy has been designed to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and applies to individuals who wish to attend an LIV event, continuing professional development (CPD) activity or apply for Accredited Specialisation.

Assessment Materials

Re-accreditation Application

Specialists must be re-accredited every three years, and are notified when they are due for re-accreditation.

If you have any thoughts on the Scheme you would like to share, contact the Accredited Specialisation department at or call 03 9607 9460, and they will pass on your thoughts or concerns to the Board. The Board meets monthly to discuss the administration of the scheme and welcomes feedback from current Accredited Specialists.
