COVID-19 Update (26 November 2021)

Law Institute of Victoria facilities are open from 9am Monday 29th November 2021, following recent announcements by the Victorian Government. This includes the LIV Library, LIV Bookshop, LIV Meeting Rooms and LIV Reception.

To comply with Victorian Public Health Orders only fully vaccinated members and visitors will be able to attend the LIV offices at Level 13, 140 William Street in Melbourne.

This means that upon entry, you must check in using the QR Code displayed in the office. You will also be requested by a staff member to provide proof of your vaccination or proof of a valid medical exemption.

Please be respectful to LIV Staff when they ask for confirmation.

Please also note that pursuant to the Victorian Government’s Stay Safe Directions, visitors to the LIV office will be required to wear a face mask in publicly accessible areas (reception, bookshop, library and restrooms).

The LIV is not collecting or recording your vaccination status, but merely complying with Public Health Orders to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
