Land Victoria Processes

Land Victoria Processes

By LIV Media

Advocacy Practice & Procedure

LIV members have expressed concern about a number of existing Land Victoria processes and business rules that are adversely impacting individuals and law practices, and undermining the certainty of numerous property transactions. Members are also concerned about the potential inequities that will arise from Land Victoria’s bulk conversion proposal to take effect in October 2016. The LIV’s submissions to Land Victoria and the Minister for Planning identify key issues of concern associated with the progress to electronic title registration that the LIV believes may impact on the integrity of the system, and certainly impact upon the acceptance and adoption of the system by the public generally and by legal practitioners particularly.
