LIV expresses concerns re inclusion of law firm reference on Land Use Victoria documents

By Property and Environmental Law Section

Conveyancing Real Property

The LIV has written a letter to the Land Use Victoria & Registrar of Titles expressing concern regarding the elimination of payment by cheque.

LIV members have reported that law firms have found it administratively difficult to reconcile payments by direct debit to LUV with the correct client files.

The LIV has requested that LUV's software providers ensure any LUV systems update is workable and that user testing is undertaken before the upgrade is finalised.
