Victoria’s premier annual CPD event for legal professionals in government, policy and administrative spheres. The 2022 program focused on the theme “Governing for the future: A landscape view” and included keynote addresses by former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Honourable Marilyn Warren AC KC, and Victorian Ombudsman Deborah Glass OBE.
With the pandemic having served as a catalyst for government transformation, the 2022 conference program reflected on key advancements and learnings from this time of transformation and new realities for government, and offered practical insights to help government lawyers shape a citizen-centered, sustainable future.
This year's program featured two highlight keynote addresses and explored topical issues pertinent to practice, such as the digital future of government, how to drive and create positive cultural change within government organisations, and key observations to be aware of from the suite of recent royal commissions.
