Video Bundle: LIV Criminal Law Conference 2022 | Law Institute of Victoria
The past two years have seen significant changes in the legal space. Globally, diversity has become a key focus of governance and legal practice, while closer to home there has been a renewed focus on Indigenous and victims’ rights. The 2022 LIV Criminal Law conference focused on the benefits of recognising and advocating for these rights, and a wider acknowledgement that they strengthen legal practice.
The 2022 conference cut to the core of complex issues that enhance understanding and assist efficiently navigate these area of practice, with the program encompassing key topics on prominent issues in First Nations sentencing, the importance of mentorship, and tips for the post-COVID court.
